This Warm Glass Star Mold is perfect for creating a star for the top of your tree, a fused glass star fish! All though you can fill it with frit.  You may want to consider creating a paper pattern of the star angle and cutting out matching pieces of glass to lay in the mold so they will fuse together and perhaps lining each section where they meet with a little extra frit to reinforce the seam.  This will significantly reduce the weight of the finished fused glass star and make it light enough to mount at the top of your christmas tree!

All though it is a Frit Casting mold, you could also cut 10 triangle shape piece of glass and perform a full fuse.

• Fused Glass Shape: Star
  Lip (outer Edge):  1/4 inch (6.4 mm)
  The outward sloped sides can be used for draping
• Inside Diameter:  7.5 inches (19.5 cm)
• Outside Diameter: 9.5 inches (24.5 cm)
• Depth:  1 1/1 inch (38 mm)

Adjust the frit amounts to achieve the desired thickness of glass.
