Seasonal Slumping Mold - Shamrock Plate

The warm glass Shamrock Plate design can be used as a dish or platter. Simply flip your mold upside down and draw around the mold with a felt tip market pen to create a pattern on your glass.  You want a thicker piece of glass than a standard 3 mm as it will be handled a lot and you want it more durable. So either cut a second one or load it with frit and fuse it prior to slumping.

Note: When cutting any curve, flair your cut out in multiple location to the edge of the glass, ending  where ever the bend occurs to insure when you break it would only take a piece at a time of the glass and preserve your curved score.

8.5" x 8.5" x 0.50" Deep 

USE:

1. We suggest elevating your mold at least a 1/2 inch off of the shelf for even heat distribution.
2. Smooth the mold surface with fine sandpaper so it accepts kiln wash uniformly.
