Rectangular Rim Platter Mold for Glass Slumping

A Rectangular Rim Charger Mold is a great sized glass mold. Simply use a 12 x 12 sheet of fusible glass and cut one side to 9 inches. It is fast and easy to make a functional and desirable platter! Serving platters are beautiful on a table but also the perfect gift to create individual designs for unique gifts.  When using a 12 x 9 sheet of glass simply cut off the corners and lightly grinder or simply use a Grozer tool.  Then when you fuse the glass the corners will round easily to fit the mold. Add you decorative glass embellishments and then slump to tack fuse them in place.

Serving platters are essentially flat dishes or trays that are used to display and serve a variety of food but the rim provides an opportunity for design!
