There are 4 Golf Balls in this a Warm Glass frit cast mold. Create a glass Golf Ball including the dimples which allow it to smooth fly thru the air. You can use this mold for multiple purposes (see below). Most golf balls have between 300 and 500 dimples, which have an average depth of about 0.010 inch. This Cast Mold is not an exact representative of the dimples.
Besides making glass balls, think out of the box and fill the dimples with a colored glass clay, then fill the mold with clear or a contrasting frit but only half way. The final shape and texture can be used as a cabochon or even fire a second time on a kiln shelf to form a round flat cabochon.
Fill the mold with glass frit or scrap glass. For depth use a clear or transparent glass and adding a top layer of an opal glass to intensify the color.
TIP: Mold should always be elevated on kiln posts for proper air circulation.
