Glass Slumping Mold -  Large Rim Bowl  

Extra wide lip for added design interest.  Who does not love a rimmed bowl! Besides making an impressive surface for your glass art, it becomes a very functional bowl.

Fusing Mold: Round Bowl Mold:
Depth: 2 1/2 inches (63.5 mm)
Outside Diameter: 10.25 inches (260 mm)
Lip: 1 1/2 inches  (38.1 mm)

Can set it right on your kiln shelf but recommend raising on at least 1/2 kiln post.  Then slow slump a precut glass circle to create a Glass a beautiful Bowl.

TIP: Mold should always be elevated on kiln posts for proper air circulation. Drop Rings can be the exception but you should use slow ramp up schedules to help avoid air pockets in the center of the glass and Shelf Paper to insure separation of the glass and Kiln Shelf
