Murrini Multi Color Sliced Hip to be Square Pattern by Glacial Art Glass! This popular System 96 Compatible glass is formed into colorful squares in a rainbow of colors. (Most people call it Murrini but the correct spelling is Murrine). Three concentric squares. with the color sandwiched between the external color layer. 

Each square of Murrini is a combination of flameworking and fusing, making each piece a mini piece of artwork. When fired exposing a sliced murine center exposes the colors which may mature to their full color during the fusing process. When each piece is spaced apart the outer edges of will allow the base glass color to be seen.  So go crazy with your base glass using color to show thru and frame each piece. When you space the squares, you can consider filling any gaps with powdered frit or enamel paints using other colors. When a pieces is fired on it side you can create other designs that are less geometric or precise but will need to glue or support with frit to hold it in position.

The geometric dimensions of the squares even in a mix of colors and sizes but the squares can be placed against each other to fire as a solid piece to create a new pattern.  Colors included may also vary by package and include yellow, red, white, black, blue and green.
