COE96 Precut Glass Wafer Round Snowflake Christmas Ornament Set of 2

Two Precut Round Snowflake Shapes at 2 1/4 inch diameter will fit perfectly on a 3 inch round precut glass circle. The entire wafer is in white opal so you can coat the white portion with any colored power if desired but it cover the sparkling white mica already there.  The snowflake has been coated in Silver Mica.  It comes with a wafer cap make with pewter powdered glass frit and then it too is covered with silver mica.  Of course you can choose not to use it and simply trim the top of the round snowflake ornament to be comeplete round and use it by itself.  The beauty of a glass wafer is can be trimmed with scissor to fit your desired design requirments!

We have included a fusible wire for hanging if you wish to use a precut glass circle as a base.

Suggestion for assembly:

Cover the snowflake ornament with a layer of clear powder to reduce shrinkage and place the fusible wire at the top between the wafer and the clear base before layering the clear powder.  Then follow the firing schedule in the Recommended Reading below.

Each wafer is made from Oceanside Compatiible glass powders frits in COE96.

Glass Wafers are ultra light, can be cut with scissor and is best fired in the kiln at a tack fuse but can be fully fused as well.  (see recommend reading below)
