A 3D fusible Glass Santa Shape with an awesome curly Beard! He is perfect for making a Christmas Ornament! The assembled Santa Wafer Kit is 4 1/4 inch H by 3 1/4 inch W. Perfect for a larger ornament or a larger plate! The Wafer Kit includes 5 pieces plus glass for eyes. The base precut shape is Santa's fabulous Beard and hat with a furry ball. Santa's face has cut out eyes and if you look close you see his nose is raise so the mustache can slide under it. For even more dimensional the fur on his cat sits on top of it all!

Santa's hat, beard and mustach are all white opal. The entire base is coated in a super white sparkling mica powder and then a coating of clear frit. We coated the face with opal Champagne glass powder for his skin tone and have added light pink to his cheeks and nose but none of these colors will display until fired in your kiln because they are striker colors.  The Fur for his hat and the mustache have been coated twice in white for additional color and texture.

You will notice the eye area is open so when set the face on top of the white base it will show thru and contrast with the Champagne skin tone.

To add your own customized touch to the design, you get to chose the color of his eyes. We have included 3 colors of precut transparent stringers. Chose from Light Blue, Brown or Green. Place them in the kiln apart from each other by 1 inch and fire them to a full fuse to form little transparent eye balls. Then when you are ready to kiln fire your Santa precut wafer. position all the wafer layers and as the last step, add fuser's glue the transparent eyes in the open eye area of the face. Wah, La! Santa is complete and ready to fire in the kiln.

Note: With multi-layered glass wafer shapes, Do not hurry the ramp up in the firing schedule (read recommended reading for schedule).  Slow is key to allow all of the adhesvies burn off and not leave any residue behind and only the colors of the powder.

Santa Precut Wafer Kit Includes:

• 1 base layer that includes the hat and beard
• 1 Face (precolored)
• 1 Mustache
• 1 pack of precut stringer in 3 colors to fire into round balls to form Santa's eyes in the color of your choice.

Recomendation: Full fuse and get the shape you want for your base layer of glass, then apply your glass wafer in a second tack fuse or to the slumping process for the best color density. If you wish to reduce the wafer skrinkage, cover in clear powder or fine glass frit.
