COE96 Precut Glass 3D Poinsettia Wafer Christmas Ornament Kit

Finally a 3D Fusible Glass Poinsettia Christmas Ornament! The assembled Poinsettia fits into a 2 3/4 inch diameter. Perfect for your ornament! The Wafer Kit includes 3 different sized Poinsettia flower petals that are each a different shade of red and a set of 4 green petals to form the base layer of glass. We created a custom glass opal powder toner mix for each petal size. Then when you stack the petals from largest to smallest, alternating petal positions, you will end up with a realistic look poinsettia flower. All you have to do is add the final layer by dropping the medium grain of yellow opal frit onto the center to represent the cyanthia; the small clusters of yellow blooms in the open center of the red floral bracts.

The Glass Wafers are ultra light, will give you vivid color and all without adding weight to your fused glass design. Cut them with scissor to change the shape or make it fit your design. We think of them as Glass Candy! Once you try them you can not get enough! Even when the layers are stacked, they will not create a bump like a normal 3 mm glass accessory precut. BUT, It is very important to red the Recommended Reading link below. No need to fully fuse when a tack fuse will give you beautiful results! The most important thing is the slow ramp up to burn off all the glass adhesives.  

Recommendation: Full fuse and get the shape you want for your base layer of glass, then apply your glass wafer in a second tack fuse or to the slumping process for the best color density.
