Fusible Glass Star Shapes are 3 mm thick and are 1/2 inch to 3 inch (12.7 mm to 76 mm). The transparent clear is a 96 COE  System 96 compatible, for a perfect 96 fusible glass. The Clear Precut Star Shapes give you complete freedom of design in your fused glass. You add color, to the top or base layer as desire to give the desired effect. 

The star shape is considered a geometric shape and is also a symbol of Mercy, Justice an Wisdom. In geometry, a star shape is called a star polygon which is a non-covex polygon, where all the inside angles are less than 180 degrees. In fused glass designs, we use them in more traditional ways like flags, Christmas decorations, awards and more!

Did you know there are many ways to add color to your glass without a full fuse which can change the sharp angles of the star? Yes you can use glass powders, glass frit or Enamel paint but did you know you can cover a clear star with a thin piece of confetti glass and only fire to 1,000 degree F to wrap the color around your precut heart?  In fact, try even less heat, start at 400 degree to see if it wraps.  Then add a 100 degree and refire the glass until you find the perfect temperature to get a full color wrap without altering the star shape!

Another way to add color is to apply one of our precut 1 mm thick glass wafers!
