How to Convert a Cone to Fahrenheit or Celsius Temperatures

Pyrometric Cone Temperature Conversion Chart

For Kiln Firing: China, Ceramics, Porcelain or Fused Glass in COE 96 or COE 90

Note: Determining Cone to Equivalency from a Ceramic Kiln to a Glass Kiln is not exact.

This temperature conversion chart will assist you with kilns with or without a programmable controller.  As long as you have a pyrometer to read the temperature inside your kiln, this chart will help you convert between Fahrenheit or Celsius Temperatures and the equivalent to a cone or cone color.  The last column will guide you for the type or ware you are firing:  Fused Glass COE 96 or COE 90, China Ceramic Bisque, or even China.

If you only have one chart to reference for temperatures, then we are happy you have found us at Go Fusing!
