Seasonal Slumping Mold - Candy Cane Ornament!

Casting a glass frit Candy Cane shape in this ornament sized ceramic mold takes fun fusing to a new level. Creative frit colors means each candy cane can be personalized or made part of a theme of colors for your Christmas glass creations. Use with garland, as an ornament or tie them to the top of your gift. Place a hi temp wire into the top of your candy cane and to give you optional uses.. 

Don't just stay with the traditional red and white fusible frit colors and try some sparkle with clear iridized frit or sprinkle Mica Powder.

4" H x 3" W x 0.50" Deep (10.16 x 7.62 x 1.27 cm)

Casted Gingerbread Man Final Fused Dimensions:

3 1/2" H x 2" W x 0.23" Deep (8.89 x 5.08 x .6 cm)

USE:

1. We suggest elevating your mold at least a 1/2 inch off of the shelf for even heat distribution.
2. Smooth the mold surface with fine sandpaper so it accepts kiln wash uniformly.

TIP: Consider placing a piece of kiln shelf paper under your mold as extra protection 

Bullseye Thin Fire or Spectrum's Papyros 

Try Primo Primer #41515 and applying it with a Haik Brush # 41601 
And using Ceramic Mold Cleaning Brush ##41600 to remove spent primer after you are done firing.
